Alister Wellesley leads the Global Digital, Cyber Security, Technology and Telecom Practice(s) for the Middle East and North African region and is based in Dubai.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Wellesley established, built and led two boutique executive search businesses focused on C-suite, Board searches and other senior executive appointments within the technology, telecom and media sector, with a more recent focus within digital transformation and cyber security.
Alister´s core experience in executive search spans and crosses the globe. He has won and successfully delivered assignments in the Americas, UK, Mainland Europe, Middle East and in Australasia.
He brings over two decades of experience in executive search, having notably led a number of high-profile sector engagements, with concentration in general management (CEO/COO/CFO), technical (CTO/CIO/CISO/CDOs), and sales (CSO/CROs) leadership as well as Board searches.
His clients include major technology and global consulting firms, leading brands in banking, insurance, retail, telecom and private equity firms.
In addition to executive search, Alister has been successful in developing and delivering ancillary services addressing leadership assessment, talent mapping, competitor analysis, cyber security advisory, strategy, investment and effectiveness, as well as succession planning and senior executive interim placements.
Prior to his career in executive search, Alister gained career experience in banking, publishing and direct marketing. He is conversational in French and native English speaker.
